The week before Christmas our employees took part in a philanthropic action that involved collecting food, sweets, school supplies, etc. for the Shelter for Minors in Dominowo (SDN). The support and engagement translated into more than 300 kg of gifts.

On Thursday, 24 March 2016, the representatives of LW Bogdanka S.A. paid a visit to the Shelter and presented our Easter Box to the children. “Everyone was awed and delighted by the meeting. The children and teachers decided that the box would be partly donated to the families in need from the neighbouring parish, as we believe that good comes back to you twofold,” said Edyta Masternak, one of the teachers working at the Shelter. As a symbolic thank-you gesture, the Bogdanka’s representatives were given a specially-prepared cast of the white eagle, the Polish national emblem, self-made by the children of the Shelter.

The visit also featured a tour around the facility, i.e. places where the children study, hold their practical classes (on ceramics, carpentry, bricklaying work), and spend their free time, etc. The visit was concluded with traditional Christmas wishes and thanks for the entire team of LW Bogdanka S.A.
